Empty surrounds all of me. It’s a poignant line from the third album by Blackwater Holylight that encapsulates the search for self when suddenly everything has changed.

Canadian Death Metal trailblazers THE AGONIST have announced their first North American tour dates of 2022! The band is excited to join forces with Swedish death legends Hypocrisy for their upcoming Worship Tour. The month-long trek kicks off on April 29th in Brooklyn, NY, and will conclude in Baltimore, MD on May 29th. In addition to The Agonist, special guests on the tour included Carach Angren and Hideous Divinity. A complete list of dates can be found below!

Speaking about the band’s upcoming tour dates, vocalist Vicky Psarakis shares: “FINALLY! It’s been 5 years since our last North American tour. I’ve been staying active with my community through livestream performances on Twitch, but we all know there’s nothing that matches the energy of a live show. A big thanks to the mighty Hypocrisy for taking us with them on this tour. I can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces, along with this amazing lineup!”

The Agonist released their latest studio effort, 2021’s ‘Days Before the World Wept’ EP on October 15th of last year via Napalm Records.
